Left Menu - Windows UI
On the Windows UI Menu you dind 4 tabs - Windows Explorer, Desktop, Context Menu and Startmenu.
Desltop tab - The Desk toptab has 5 tweaks -
After selecting the checkboxes of your choice you need to hit "Apply Tweaks" button to effectuate

Disabled:
Show Desktop Icons
Enabled : Show Icons on the desktop.
Disabled: Don't Show Icons on the desktop.
Show Build Tag
Enabled : This will show Windows Vista's build tag on the desktop
Disabled: Don't show the Windows Vista's build tag on the desktop
Show Balloon Tips
Enabled : Show balloon tip messages
Disabled: Don't Show balloon tip messages
Remove the Shortcut to..."text on Shortcuts
Enabled : Show the shortcut to..." text on shortcut files
Disabled: Disable showomh the shortcut to..." text on shortcut files
