the mac id is saved in the router's logs. Well. It just goes like this: You download via torrent -> one of the tousands DL-Lawyers sends the owner of the wlan a nice little letter telling him to pay like 500€ -> the wlan owner of course doesn't pay, get's himself a lawyer and goes to the poli... |

MAC id? Well i know you can change it, and if they find you have the same one as the one that did the illegal actions they got you. Well at least they'll take a close look at your whole house (unannounced of course) and take your cell phone(s), computers etc with them too look for an evidence you d... |

I would say give credit to the original author of the skin. So whoever posted it just give them credit. I would also advise to sending a pm to the member who created it (except for Zeus who has since left the forum) to discuss credits. |
