i'm using vista ultimate but i gutted it out over three months to rid it of the shit i have a 6sec start up and a 5sec shutdown with awesome online gaming speeds totally deleted the UAC and removed all the windows security and un-used drivers added windows nvidia system drivers which are not includ... |

yep thats right explorer.exe controls all active icons and folders including the start menu, toolbar,notification area and basically everything you use to interact with windows you need a programer to figure this one and as you see no-one has yet! |

try in the hidden files in
C:/windows/system32/
make sure you change your folder options to see hidden files! |

thats because vista wasn't a big flop as made out to be, even i wouldn't convert from xp cause of what people have said about it but i realised it was so much better than xp and after a few little tweaks it was a hell of alot better and i'm in no hurry 2 upgrade and i think alot of people feel this... |
